This complex renovation was the first in the nation to implement the new MINI brand design standards. The facility includes a 2 story showroom and 3 story inventory garage housing 134 MINIs. The deliberate use of solid, semi-transparent, and transparent planes within the black metal clad grid creates an interactive façade that is bold and dynamic. The showroom’s interior evokes an industrial vibe through the use of exposed duct work, piping, and electrical conduit. A palette of natural materials like wood, concrete, and glass provide a connection to the local environment.
