Jiro graduated with a Bachelor of Design with Honors and a Masters of Architecture with Honors from the University of Florida.  His graduate studies also include time at the Vicenza Italy School of Architecture. Jiro was a Valedictorian of the Leadership Fort Lauderdale program and served on its Advisory Council and has served as Chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale’s Chamber of Commerce Beach Council.  Jiro is a Florida AIA Bronze Medal Recipient as well as a 2005 Salute to Business Winner in Fort Lauderdale.  His projects have won numerous awards and he has been published in multiple publications. Jiro has also written for and been published in the Journal of Architectural Education and has been a guest speaker or lecturer for several organizations.  In addition he has been a guest critic for Florida Atlantic University and a guest critic for the University of Florida’s Architecture Department since 1995.
